When my late grandmother and I watched an old folk's singing contest

I used to stay at my aunt's house every Friday and Saturday, which meant I talked to my late grandmother often and we were close. Every Saturday morning, after we had breakfast, we would catch the morning shows, a remarkable one being the old folk's singing contest. I admired how even senior citizens could shine on stage, and my grandmother and I enjoyed their singing. Everyone was talented and respectful towards each other, which I remember fondly. The program and our enjoyable time together from simply watching the same show are a reminder of simple times, different from how the times are now.
